Coffee in the park is a local cafe in the rural town of Lowood, located on Main St, this Cafe is in the center of town and draws local customers in. Coffee in the Park serves the purpose for the elderly to come in and catch up with friends for the day.

The aims for redesigning this cafe is to increase the enjoyment of this cafe for longer periods of time and increase community engagement with elderly people in the community.
Built using sustainable materials and biophilic elements such as wayfinding, connection to mature and dynamic and defused light, gives the participants a calming and enjoyable environment.

Bold colours to enhance the users experience, designing around the original architecture to give authenticity, clear and visible frontages to draw customers in and flexible seating options for all guests to create inclusion and diversity.
The opening hours for this café will be changing and expand the function of this space through programming to allow for some community engagements events to take place in this space.
